The Relais des Familles is a relay race 3, 4 or 5 participants runners (with a minimum of 1 minor child and 1 adult per team). It will take place in Nice on Saturday 26 April between 2pm and 5pm.
Each team will have to run a total of 5 km in 500-metre loops. (The team will have to complete a total of 10 loops to complete the distance).
At the end of each loop, each runner will receive a scrunchy. After receiving 10 scrunchies, the team will be allowed to cross the finish line.
Each runner must complete a full loop at least once. Then, each team member can complete as many loops as they wish. The maximum number of loops is 10.
The finish will be at the official 21.1 KM finish line.
All the children aged less than 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the race. However, the course will be secured by the organisers and will take place entirely on the pavement of the Promenade des Anglais and will therefore be closed to traffic.
The Relais des Familles event is open to everyone, with no age limit!
However, all the participants under the age of 18 must provide a completed and signed parental authorisation at the time of registration or at the collection of the bibs.
1 € extra will be applied on entries fees to support Banque Alimentaire des Alpes-Maritimes. After the race, all the funds will be reversed to Banque Alimentaire des Alpes-Maritimes.
